“ We went to Haidilao last night. It was a 2hr wait a party of 2 on a Wed night! It's great that you can add your name to a spot on Yelp ahead of time. There's also a very nice waiting area for your party with drinks and snacks, instead of having to wait outside in the cold. Haidilao is known for their service, and this location is no exception. Our waiter was friendly, and was able to explain the menu and the ordering to us. They have hand sanitizer packets, and aprons. They even had a cover that goes over your jacket on the back of your chair. They even put in an extra wall in our soup so that the spicy wouldn't spill into the non-spicy. We ordered the pork bone soup base and spicy pork soup based, as well as pork belly, brisket, and half order of Kobe beef. The soup was pretty standard for hot pot, and the meat was fatty and tender. 2.5 orders of meat was perfect for 2 people. The sauce bar has more options than a typically hot pot location, and there are 2 inside the restaurant so it doesn't get crowded. We finished the meal with a delicious Ube/Vanilla soft serve. This location is a lot busier than the Fremont location, and it feels like there are a lot more tables! ”

“ Food was great as was the service! Different broth options was very nice to have. Service timing was consistent - getting rid of plates as they brought additional items we ordered. Bonus- their after meal mints are soooo good! Someone tell me where to order them as bulk! They're butter mints, but the flavors are more than mint, like lychee! ”

“ Second time at Haidilao and decided to try it again after an unfortunate experience on my first with having super spicy broth! Needless to say, the second visit around was SO much better! Our server was such a sweetheart and basically showered us with kindness throughout serving us. He have us a free dessert (pictured on the left) was a sort of oatmeal mochi which was delicious! He was also very helpful in guiding us through the menu to ensure we had the best experience possible. Really huge shoutout to him because he really amplified our experience as the food was already so amazing! This is really some bougie hot pot as the inside is bright and big and it is very modern looking inside. We opted to get a four pot bowl and had water as the other broths (our server indicated this was a much cheaper option) and I got the kimchi pork broth and I believe my friend got pork bone broth (?). Needless to say it was so amazing and even though we opted out of the sauce bar the food was delish regardless! Again our server was kind enough to have us ger some ice cream despite not getting the sauce bar (the sauce bar was extra and didn't want to spend so much on it and the ice cream was a part of it). We were also given goodie bags with toys and snacks as well as a red envelope from our server containing a coupon to us for next time. I loved the service and the food! This is such a quality place to get hot pot and please please give the man a raise (I forgot his name) but he was SO amazing I cannot stress that enough!! Thank you for having us! ”

“ It was our first time at Haidilao, and the service blew my mind. There is a relatively big room for customers with seating, snacks, drinks, and toys for children while waiting for your table. Once at your table, they give you aprons, hair ties, and a seat cover to place over any jackets hung on the chair. Anh was our server for the night, and she was so friendly and helpful! She checked up on us constantly and was definitely one of the reasons our experience was very enjoyable. Would definitely ask for her again! She additionally gave us free Haidilao merch to take home. Overall, the atmosphere was happy and upbeat. The performances were fun and all staff were very kind; best service that I have received overall at a restaurant! ”

“ Now THIS is an interesting restaurant experience! Hotpot with a show. Came here for lunch with my extended family. We ordered lots of fresh veggies, mushrooms, meat, and noodles. Kids eat free for lunch. Highly recommend ordering the dancing noodle experience. They have the "face changing" mask show at 1pm on weekends, and I heard they have some disco nights, too. We got the split pot with two soup options, one of which was pork bone soup. To be honest, the price is similar to Happy Lamb across the street, but the portions are not as large and there is much less emphasis on the soup. And this is apparent because they don't use bowls - just plates. The soup (and thus the food) was also quite bland for me. What makes up for it is the sauce bar, which is super extensive. It is an add-on at $2.99 pp but it's worth it. Also included: soft serve ice cream and red bean dessert I highly compliment the service. It was hard to understand her (mask + accent + restaurant noise), but she was super attentive and anticipated almost everything we needed to have a great experience. She regular cleared the table and dishes, kept things moving at a nice pace. Again, highly recommend for the experience! ”

“ Hands down, one of the best experiences in the Bay Area! We personally had reservations so did not have to experience a "wait", we did sit in their lobby for a bit where there is a bunch of free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for you to enjoy beforehand. Service was great, Candy was very lovely and took time to answer our questions. You mainly order on their iPad and if you feeling like experiencing a small performance, try ordering the dancing noodles! You will not regret. If you google some their "secret codes" and say them to your server, you might get some freebies! We ended up doing a quarter pot with four broths -- Golden, Tomato, Pork and Sichuan Spicy! All were delicious, I absolutely love the Golden broth. It was a non-spicy broth that had almost like a buttery flavor to it. But I truly think you cannot go wrong with any of it! Their wagyu is definitely top notch and if you are coming here, I say just splurge and try it out! Looking for something refreshing or sweet at the end, their sauce bar has fruit and a soft serve machine!! (It isn't free but unlimited for around 3-5 bucks per person) ”
